Trump’s approval falls to all-time low, drops even in states that voted for him

Trump is starting to slip in the states that voted him into office. It seems even some of his base is backing away.

The Morning Consult’s 50-state approval tracker found that Trump’s approval rating hit an all time low in March with 54% of registered voters disapprove of his performance. With a 2% overall dip from February’s numbers, March saw Trump lose ground in states that previously supported him.

Trump saw a 9% loss in support from voters in the state of Iowa, and the states of Tennessee and Idaho also showed losses of 6% each. All of those states were strong supporters in the 2016 election.

It appears that it is also becoming obvious to his base that he is flailing about in his role of president. Too bad it took them voting him into office to come to terms with the fact that he is a two-bit reality TV star that is grossly unqualified for the position he now holds.
