While Americans are busy talking about Roy Moore, Al Franken and John Conyers, amongst a litany of other guilty politicians, many forget that our current President is guilty of multiple acts of sexual misconduct himself! A slurry of women came forth before the election, accurately detailing accounts wherein Donald Trump sexually assaulted and/or abused them. Like every other Congressman accused of similar things, Trump denied these allegations and said these women were liars.
Which is a horrible way to handle ANY situation. Trump was met with nothing but criticism for his actions. But did that affect his psyche at all? Not in the least. Since his wrongful election, the American people have forgotten about these charges brought against him – but now, more than ever, we should shine a spotlight on these women and believe their stories wholeheartedly.
One such accuser, Summer Zervos, who was once a contestant on The Apprentice, accused Trump of sexual misconduct before his inauguration. Donald has since responded by calling her a liar and dragging her good name through the dirt. In response to that petty retort, Zervos politely offered Donald a period of time to retract his statement and apologize to her. He didn’t budge. So, she had no other recourse other than to file a defamation lawsuit against Donald Trump, for publicly slandering her character.
When asked about this, Zervos said, “On Nov. 11, 2016, I called on Mr. Trump to retract his statements about me calling me a liar. I also called upon him to state that what I said about his behavior toward me was true. More than two months have gone by and he has not issued that retraction. I wanted to give Mr. Trump the opportunity to retract his false statements about me and the other women who came forward.”
She added that her sole intent of this lawsuit was to, “vindicate my reputation.” Good luck, Summer…
